Some friends did a car tour of southern Norway in February, I was pretty dubious about the plan since they were mostly indoors-type folks that usually avoid cold weather; surprisingly they like the tour a lot & lucked out with avg seasonal weather, no cold snap.
An adventure of a minor sort is when you leave in the morning and don't know what you will see or where you will stay, it isn't all planed etc... Sucky is when the memorable part of the trip was entirely predictable and it sucked.
