Yes. Not so much at intersections, more at one particular crosswalk when I'm trying to walk my bike across like a good law abiding citizen, but drivers are too impatient to stop for a pedestrian.
Got a different kind of wave yesterday on the way home. A car in the
left lane with its
left signal light on suddenly veered
right and stopped, right in front of me and I had to grab a lot of brake to avoid a collision. As I went around him on the left, he smiled and waved with an "oopsie, my bad, teehee!" look on his face. The look on my face was not so amused.
This morning was 5C/41F, which is better than the 0C/32F of yesterday morning, so I'll take it. Pretty nice commute.
