I use Woody's shave gel. My beard is especially tough for some reason, and I've tried probably a couple of dozen different shaving creams, gels, and oils over the years. Woody's is definitely the best I've used. It has been hard to come by; I think it is normally only sold through salons, etc. I've stocked up on the occasions that my wife goes to a cosmetology trade show.
