The made in Japan part only hurts the value. If you're looking for a good rider, nothing wrong with it in the least!
The "hurt" is relative. You pay less when new, you sell less when old. Bianchi's, whether made in Italy or Japan, are a recognized mass market name brand that command a premium for similarly constructed bikes. Trek, Cannondale, and Specialized command similar premiums.
