I really like the features of the Giro covers that I got, especially at the great price that I got them for: fleece liner, reflective, sealed/locking zipper closure, special fabric with silver fibers to help with odor and static. But man it was like a workout getting just one onto one shoe!
The Showers Pass do keep out water, but also keep out wind. I find they add at least 15-20 degrees (F) comfort to my low end when coupled with wool socks.
