It's super easy. You fill out the shipping info -- weight, dimensions of box, destination, etc. Then you prepay for the shipping label, print it out, then drop it off at your local FedEx. You can even pay with PayPal.
I recently used it to ship a bike from Tacoma, WA to Phoenix, AZ. For an estimated 30 lb bike box and $400 insurance, the cost was $41. It took 3 days for the bike to arrive.
