Regardless if it was a group, if that is actually true you should still pretty much know what you personally need to be ready for 100 solo. It's not that big of a deal. I take a camelback so I'll already have enough water and some extra room to store munchies. Maybe a second tube. Besides that it's not much different than 100K, just a couple of hours longer.
