I've been thinking of switching to a tablet instead of a laptop. I've owned a tablet for years.... and they have improved a lot. But I don't think I want my phone to also be my PC.... although I understand that is popular.

I am switching to the iPhone 6 soon. Currently using the 4s (but with the 9iOS). Wife can locate me (or at least my phone) if I don't return home from cycling. I use an app to track my cycling and creating my stats. I love the iphones! Even though I am an old retired network admin (Microsoft)... I'll likely switch to an apple tablet for news, home surfing (forums), and shopping.

I am currently using Sony and Roku.... but thinking of switching to apple TV as well. Although the Roku pairs well with apple. And I have the apple-Roku app as well.

The right TV/phone pairing (particularly when using apple) can be great when you want to show off your bicycle racing video on you iPhone to company. You can use your Wifi connection to pair/broadcast the phones video/pictures/Internet connection right to the family TV.
