i recently moved to brooklyn and i try to go into manhattan as little as possible. brooklyn is awesome.

if you end up going to brooklyn college (a CUNY school, which means City University of New York) there are some really chill neighborhoods in the area. you could do Midwood, Windsor Heights, Brooklyn Heights. it's all great riding. seriously, brooklyn is where it's at, just not the parts of brooklyn that people would have you believe.
