Maybe I should have used tabbed darts to point out the exact years/eras. The Wright Brothers were no longer making bikes in 1921... maybe I was silly to assume people would be aware of that fact. Apparently you were completely unaware of American history.
Yes in the Victorian Era (
you can google the dates..... AKA the golden era of bicycling) bicycles were a fortune. But just a few years later... America was alive with cars and desires to build roads. Bicycles had ramped up in production and became cheap. It's exciting history!!! You should learn some of it.
