I was out of town and learned this morning who the cyclist killed at Esparto was I am devastated by the news. I met him when I joined Altovelo and started racing in 2007. He and I raced many races together and he was an extremely positive person, excellent racer and supportive of others. I would see him often on Canada Road in the evening and also at training camps. He was a friend and family man. He will be greatly missed. RIP. My condolences to the family.
