Solo only, except short rides with my wife. I have organized and led "rides" for two groups of folks - from our church, and a group of 70+ riders. Both went for awhile, then fizzled. I did some group riding with two clubs, but I did not like it.

I have lots of opportunities for social activities otherwise.

At my age, I so enjoy riding at my own speed (very slow) and stopping and talking with folks. I rode 20 miles yesterday, and stopped 3 times for nice discussions with folks along the way. This would likely drive most riders nuts. Absolutely NO interest in speed or caring how far I ride - mostly how long I ride is the only measure, and then, of course, always, Smiles per hour.
