That's too bad, but one would think that Specialized would have learned from earlier experience/lessons learned by Vitus/Peugeot from their problems with cracking aluminum seatpost clamp seatlugs.
Sure, it looks nice to mimic steel seat lugs, but as Vitus found out, the design just doesn't do that well in aluminum...
