When Walmart/Target is pumping out bikes under $100, the reality is some
are a disposable commodity - because maintaince/repair can easily exceed the bike. A $99 Walmart bike that ends up in a bike shop needing a new rear tire, chain replacement, new cables, and good overhaul/tune, easily exceeds the value the bike.
