The thickness of the carbon tubes on that bike is quite substantial, and I would think they could easily handle a wedge type seat post. There is a reason those things really didn't weigh that much less than a high quality steel frame, the tube set is very thick and heavy. If I remember correctly from cutting up one of the frames some years ago, the tubes are a strong 1/8" thick. Just don't go crazy on the wedge tension, and it will work fine.
