Just to make sure, there are two kinds of front derailleur attachements: clamp and braze-on. If you're migrating a braze-on FD to a frame without a braze-on, you'll need a special clamp.
No biggie, you can get one from Nashbar or even your LBS if you're lucky. But it's just one thing you might overlook.
