Riding in the snow, rain or ice with a single track-articulated vehicle is not a good idea.
Oddly enough we used X-C ski on snow, skates on ice, fitted fenders on the FG winter/wet bikes and rode base miles in the rain "back when".
Horses for courses as they say, and winter fitness isn't all about the bike.
