Somebody mentioned boulder, but if you're looking for a city, than I'd avoid it, Boulder is pretty small, and denver is just eh. I"m in a similar boat though. I'm done in may, and have to choose a grad school to do my Phd at. It looks like Villanova is going to be my first choice. Any of you philly kids go there? How long would the commute by bike be from somewhere more downtown. From what I understand, it's not exactly in the city, but i don't want to live in suburbs.

If you do decide to check out Boulder, there's always a couch here... especially for an unwed sailor fan.
