Thanks for the advice. I was going to do it. I ordered the cassette and it occurred to me that it may involve more than just swapping out one cassette for the other. The new cassette is the same make and model as the old one - just a different range - so I figured the derailleur should work on both as the cable length between gears should be the same. I guess when the cassette comes in, I'll swap it out and see if it works or not and go from there.
