Yes that was me. You looked like you were enjoying that hill immensely. Do you ever mix up your route? There are some beautiful SW Portland routes I'm sure you know. My fav is grabbing Capitol Highway at Barbur and riding down to Multnomah Village and up over the hill again onto Terwilliger or Barbur. That route is so tree lined it's hard to imagine it's within a city of 500K+ people.
I once lived in the Detroit burbs where #1 you don't bike commute if you value your life, #2 so grid lined the roads were <yawn>.
