Lotus Pro Series 3000r

I picked up this Lotus Pro Series 3000r a couple of weeks ago on CL. One of those typical examples; barely used & all original components including tape and tires. It had some scuff marks which disappeared with the use of GooGone.

The only thing missing is the head badge. Did some come without? All other decals are in good shape.

A few things I find interesting;

- the brakes (front and back) calipers are nutted, not recessed.

- the rear spread is 130, not 126 mm.

- the wheels are 700c, not 27" which I have seen before on this model.

I got this for a friend who loves the look of the late 80s but prefers modern components. Therefore the Blaze components are going to be replaced with Tiagra / 105 pieces, including 9 speed STI brake lever shifting and dual pivot brake calipers.
