Hope I havent already posted this. I built it up a few weeks ago from a frame I bought on CL for $30 and some spare parts I had, and it's my main ride now. It's technically a hybrid I suppose, but I use it on both trails and the street. I slapped it together pretty quickly (ie half-assed) so I could use it for a ride that day, but am gonna reassemble it this week doing a better job. I'll also change out several of the components.

It rides (to me) beautifully, very flex-free BB on hard climbs, and the OS tubing in general really dampens bumps and ruts. One thing different about it to me is the shorter (than my last mtb) wheelbase. I'm still getting used to how quick it feels in comparison. Also the 700c wheels with trail tires are an adjustment for me too, as I was really used to 26ers..
