Assuming budget is not a significant factor, I would likely spend the extra $ to go with the upgraded component (unless you could tell no difference in the gear changing during your trial + you see no benefit from the extra gear). Have said that, I am partial to some red coloring - albeit I doubt color difference between the two models would sway me!

Either way I hope you get as much pleasure riding your Quick as I have in riding mine (just over 5,000km in less than two years - including my first full century this summer!)
