I like it a lot. I had to pass up a cheap opportunity on the same frame, in my size, a number of years ago since I had so many projects and had just bought a brand new modern MTB. I sold the new bike, but I'd probably still be riding the Raleigh if I had bought it.

. Here's how it looks now. About a third of the way there. The wheels need rebuilt. I can stand a lot of things on a bike, but peeling plated spokes isn't one of them. I think I am just going to buy new spokes, and relace them one at a time. The rear has a couple of broken ones, and the tire rubs. The rim is kind of toasty, but I have one. It doesn't seem to be the same finish though. More frosted than shiny.,,,,BD
