Washing cycling clothing especially socks is a very complex process. It requires a lot of skill and special equipment. You will need cycling specific detergent and cycling specific washing machines /dryers. The best thing to do is to take your dirty laundry to an LBS and ask them for instructions or ask them do the laundry for you.
