Bikes: Vitus 979, 1981 Peugeot Super Competition PXN10E, Peugeot P18T, Crescent Pepita Special 318 Rando, 1984 Ross Mt. Whitney, 1974 Schwinn Le Tour, Soma Grand Randonneur V.2

I agree with Bandara: I'm grateful enough that this still exists and that bicycle builders still make bikes like this. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd applaud the individual that does. I'd rather buy an old beat-up Reynolds frame and build it up myself with my own used or NOS parts, even if I end up reaching a similar number when all is said and done, the thing was custom built by ME (well, not the frame).

I've looked through some of the Pashleys at a LBS here in Portland and was less than impressed by the attention to details. Although these were definitely not the top-level offerings being discussed here, I didn't think they were worth the amount being asked, considerably more than a used bike of a higher caliber or the brand-new Robin Hood (and similar) mentioned here.
