The rims are Alex rims of some kind. Pretty solid looking. Although I really don't need everything that is included, it does have a Brooks B17, nice pump, Topeak rear rack, and a light set. Oh, disc brakes. Never had those before.

I can't ride right now because of cataract surgery, but did ride it the other day. Pretty darn sweet. I've been salivating about a LHT for quite awhile now, so I bought it. They are putting interrupter brake levers on for me and raising the bar a bit. I've been riding a flat bar for some time now, but really want to try this. I did 120 miles on the Katy trail last weekend and, although some of it is on me for not being as ready as I should have been, I had some real pains on the ride. Back and neck and even my bottom on my pretty well broken in Brooks. I want all of the hand positions. I really want to take some longer tours next summer. Also want to at least do a metric century next summer, too.

Thanks for all those that helped. I'll try and post pictures when I get the bike.

Get a professional bike fit by someone who understands touring.

It will be worth the money.
