I did get may hands on some alum bolts and bits in the late 80s. With those water bottle bolts, I KNOW I was able to climb my regular 4 mile hill at least 2 minutes faster.
Just make sure you grease (or use anti-seize compound) those Al waterbottle bolts once in a while as they will seize on to those steel bosses in short time, especially as it kinda gets wet in that area often.....
