Sometimes a LBS will give as good a deal as you can find on line. I cleaned my bike last weekend and while doing so I noticed that my cassette is in need of replacement, as is my chain. Went online to several sites and found Performance selling what I needed with a 20% discount on each item. We have a Performance outlet here (on the other side of the city) so I was planning on going there to pick them up. On the way home from our ride, Sunday, I stopped at my LBS to see what he would charge me for the same things and found out I could get them there for the same price as Performance. I also picked up a new large chainring since I'm replacing the cassette. Same price and I didn't have to travel clear across the city or wait for delivery. Online is not always the best way to go.
