I'm not sure if he got faster, but I did look at a few of his later posts and it seems he went to a Sirrus and then a Domane Di2 Ultegra, so I think he is doing fine at whatever speed he is riding.

That is always an issue with a 3 year old thread that gets resurrected. The OP has moved on with life and the battle rages on behind.
