Good stuff. Definitely bringing a chain lock. Definitely going to have a bunch of Clif bars. I like the idea of taking the chain whip. I like the spare rack bolt idea as well. Zip ties are probably a good bet too. I'm starting to wonder if I could get by with a rack rider type truck bag and front panniers. I might just take all the bags for the experience of riding loaded. I'll pass by bike shops in two towns on the way, so I can pick stuff up if needed.
