Yup. The app I use supposedly can sense when I've stopped, but I don't really care if it's factored into my average or not, especially knowing either Cyclemeter or Strava has a bug that occasionally reports a 30-40 mph speed on an easygoing turn that I made.

Come on, if I was really going 30+ MPH on a typical right angle turn from one street to another, I would have wiped out for sure.
I get paid for what I do after I've completed my bike commute to work, not what I do on the bike.
