Carbolite 103 tubing gets little respect on this forum (there was a thread on the very subject). I had an '85 with 103 and liked it a lot, the 103 tubing was replaced by HLE in 1986, I think. For the exact model and year you need to check the Peugeot catalogs from the era, a search on this Forum or in general will get you there.
The use of lugs continues to this day on finer steel frames.
Most disrespect for the Carbolite 103 framed Peugeot bikes usually come from people that never owned such bikes and/or never ridden them. they are easily the best riding bikes you can buy in their price category at their time, and with just a few well thought out mods, you can get them to ride/handle like much more expensive bikes. And despite their simple lugless construction, the frames are bulletproof strong
