There are a number of paved of county roads north of Grand Junction, Colorado, which pass many farms and housing developments, and are great for road biking. One of the best of the ranches is located near I-1/2 and 24 road. They've put up some trees, a bench, a water fountain and a geocache just for bikers. First, there's a welcome sign: Got water?

and the promised water, which is cool and refreshing on a hot day,
