Yea, that's me. I'm inclined against taking any kind of supplement or drug unless there is a demonstrated need. And so far, no such need has been identified. I don't even take vitamins.
I think it's common among us to be goal-oriented. For many of us, that goal is keeping up with the fast boys or shaving minutes off our best time. If that weren't the case, Strava would be out of business. And achieving those goals can be fun and satisfying.
My goals are different. My goal is to ride at a reasonably challenging pace for myself (not measured by a clock or comparison to others), to snag as many pictures as possible, and to be safe. For me, that's a good day.
