+1. Even old elastomer Manitous and Rock Shox did well with small bump action. A pothole isn't a "small bump" either. More modern air/oil forks handle bumps of all sizes quite well. Unfortunately, this isn't the kind of fork you find on most hybrids nor on many mountain bikes.
