I'm new into bikes. My first tour was in Central Asia, and I bought a 90's rockhopper and with a little help from some nice bicycle shop employees turned it into a touring beast. I have been fascinated by Rockhoppers since and now that I have the time I want to fix them up myself from the frame up. I bought two cheap models, one for fun and one for me and need help with the year. I actually need some advice and resources on the older models in general. One is 19" , with the frame saying off road cr mo custom butted direct drive, and is black. The other one is maroon , 13.5" and says double butted cro mo direct drive, and also has a step through frame. Any ideas on the years? any info is appreciated !
