Goodbye again, MTB
This summer I finally got a reliable enough road bike that I could retire my MTB from commuting and put knobbies on it again. I gifted it a decent fork and had a lot of fun.
But... the curse of a MTB is that it's adaptible so it gets used for everything.
I just last night finished putting cruiser bars on it. This makes it usable with the front kid seat but, so far as I'm concerned, useless as a MTB. The handlebars have too much "tiller" effect and the knees can strike if they're turned much.
So that was fun while it lasted. :-/
Maybe next summer...

"Well, well!" said Holmes, impatiently. "A good cyclist does not need a high road. The moor is intersected with paths and the moon is at the full."
