I have ehard different things about Tektro brakes ... the lower-end stuff seems not to impress (just went from Tektro to Tiagra myself, but not enough miles to have a clue ... ) but 105 brakes cannot be faulted. I'd go with the cheaper, to my eye better equipped 2.5.
