Scored a new Motobecane Mixte Grand Jubile yesterday
Took delivery of this one-owner, red and black Grand Jubile mixte yesterday. It has Reynolds 531 tubing (probably seat tube and down tube only), Nervex lugs (pretty unusual for a mixte frame) and Huret Jubile long cage rear derailleur. Appears to be totally original other than tires and handlebar tape. It's really in remarkable condition, very lightly ridden and had been stored indoors all of its life. These bikes are very rare and one hardly ever sees one pop up on C/L or Ebay. This one is a 19" frame, so it fits my 4'11" wife. I was originally going to flip it but since it fits her better than the silver and black 20-1/2" one I just rebuilt I guess I'll keep it and sell the silver/black one.
