How many miles do you ride?

I'm sure this has been flogged to death here, but I'm fairly new and very curious about how many miles my fellow bike weenies ride. I started riding again in April after a 5 year layoff. Only logged about 250 miles in April, but since then I'm @ nearly 7000 year to date (I'll hit that by early next week). I'll probably wind up 2005 with 7500-8000 miles. I averaged 7000 miles annually from 1989-1999 with my highest annual total being about 9200. I raced on a hack/amateur level (Cat 4, Vets, never upgraded to Cat 3 because it seemed pointless doing Vet races 95% of the time) from age 32-42, then sat out 5 years with back issues, now I'm trying to get back into it. Lost 45 lbs. since April, so I'm skinny again. Now I'm trying to get strong (winter weight lifting program).

Biggest week this year - 360 miles. Still riding 200+ miles per week. So far. Check in with me in a couple of weeks. About to go out for a 45+ mile ride. It's 30º outside at the moment. Let's hope it warms up a bit, eh? (I live in Southeastern NY State about 55 miles north of Manhattan).

Love cycling. God help me. I keep telling my wife it beats being obsessed with drugs, alcohol, gambling, stripper bars or car collecting. But that only goes so far....
