I have it disassembled and scattered around my apartment and, amazingly, I was able to fix the shifters! Any recommendations for cables that are better for the winter? Or cheap ones will suffice? I paid $50 for the bike so I don't feel like investing too much.
Cheaper cables normally are galvanized steel, more expensive are stainless, which is less likely to corrode, which sound like what you need if using the bike as a winter commuter.
