Do you think they'd design a mountain biking frame that would be completely useless if a rock hits it? Now granted, if you're not talking about a little ding and the rock hits it and cracks it, then you've got a problem. Isn't carbon fibre just as strong as aluminum, just that when it breaks it doesn't bend, it shatters?
