Yes but that wasn't my only argument. Besides, joggers with strollers are traveling much slower than a fully enclosed freaking e-bike would be. This problem is not black and white. Cherrypicking arguments is not a great strategy. The combination of the size of the vehicle, the speed at which it will be traveling, and the fact that visibility is limited around it makes it unsuitable for MUPs and bike lanes. Are riders using this thing going to be comfortable riding inches away from a curb when there is a bike lane directly beside one? Or are they going to take the entire bike lane, and move out into the car lane a bit just so they fit?
So again, it is my opinion that if this were to be developed and sold, it be sold as an electrical vehicle, not a bike.
I find it... ironic that Roody has "Think outside the cage" in their signature, yet that's exactly what this thing is. A small, lightweight cage. (Cage referring to cars.) (Of course, Roody hasn't really expressed an opinion one way or another in terms of this vehicle, so I can't say that for certain.)
