I usually ride the HH100 each year. The first thing I plan for is where to stay. Once you have that decided next is to train. If you are doing the 100 miles I would suggest doing 1 or 2 rides in the 75 mile range. Hydration is important. The route is not too hilly. Ride miles and build up to the longer route.
