Bikes: This list got too long: several ‘bents, an urban utility e-bike, and a dahon D7 that my daughter has absconded with.

There is the particular issue of commuting in the winter; yes, I commute by bicycle in the winter. I know it can be done, there is no reason to get all silly about preaching to me. That being said, there are alot of people who do not want to. There is also the reality expect certain things in their commuting vehicle: storage, seating position, cleanliness, all things that many people feel that the bicycle does not offer.

I understand that there are a lot of people here who think it is either a traditional bicycle or a motor vehicle; that the universe has nothing in the middle. Many of these vehicles suit people who do have a need, or perceive that they have a need, for something in the middle.
