I just changed hoses on my 785's and bled them. Removed those couplings an installed bh-90 hose too.
One last trick that gets the last air out is to keep the syringe attached at the caliper and hold a light pressure on it, keep the funnel at the lever 1/2 full.
Now stroke the lever very fast many, many strokes until the air comes out at the caliper. Squeeze the syringe to push the fluid back to the lever and repeat.
Hold the syringe so the air stays in it and does not go back into the system. The rapid lever swishes loose trapped air
Rear is dead solid. It was not until I did this.
