I sort of want to pack a little heavier than I need to on this ride. Just to get the feel of the weight I'd be taking on a camping trip.
I've been doing daily rides with my 45 lb bike setup just to get used to it. Getting it up a 13% grade is no fun, but at least I know its doable.
Right now, this is my list:
CPAP
2 jerseys/bibs
2 underwear
2 t shirts
2 socks
cargo shorts
light shorts
Sandals for off the bike
Rain jacket or cycling jacket? (its supposed to rain the majority of the time)
toothbrush
toothpaste
razor
deodorant
band aids
sunscreen
bib cream
2 water bottles
Road snacks
phone
Garmin Edge 1000
helmet
gloves
sunglasses
wallet/money
front light
rear light
USB chargers
trash bags to cover panniers in the rain
air pump
CO2 cartridges + inflators
multi tool
extra spokes
spoke wrench
2 spare tubes
bike lock
spare rack bolts
Zip ties
Maybe I can get that into rear panniers only. Would it be better to only take rear or front panniers if I had the choice?
