I rode some gaps in VT recently and that was some pretty hellacious climbing, but in hindsight I could have hit it harder, was holding too much back anticipating it being more difficult than it was. With the 52/36 and 11-32 I'll only lose a smidge on the low side. I'll lose the fabled 16t cog in the cruising range though...lmao
Why even go to midcompact if you need an 11/32? Is being able to eek out that extra 1mph on the top end that important compared to tighter gearing in the middle with with the same low range?
