You know, all this happened so quickly that it is all a blur to me now. No time to shoot or charge or spray....they were surrounding me within seconds. What I remember the most was how my chest hurt because my heart was pounding so hard!

I have found a good self-defense class at the Rec Center that I plan to attend. I have a gun and I know how to use it, but I have no plans to take it riding with me. I will, however, get some pepper spray the next time I go into town! Most of all, though, I will never again be so naive as to think nothing bad can ever happen to me. I will at least be aware that I am not invincible.
